Just when you thought that I couldn't post any different shots from last year's visit to Lake Bled, when I show you this one.

The beauty of this location is that no matter which way you turn, there's always something wonderfully photogenic. The added bonus is that at dawn, the light changes so much in a short space of time, that whole scenes can change in minutes.

After getting some of the scenes I was hoping for, I felt a bit more free to shoot the landscapes surrounding the lake. This mostly consisted of the Julian Alps.

It was bright enough to give a nice warm glow on the peaks, but still early and cold enough to give a fantastic layer of mist across the lake's surface.
