To get to this location was incredibly tough for me. Was it tough because it was on top of a karst mountin? No, not really. Was it tough because we had to get up at about 04:00 hours to reach the peak before sun up? Nope, that's standard for me and Greg Annandale.
It was tough because, even this early in the morning, the humidity was in the mid-90s and that completely wiped me out. It pretty much stopped me breathing and moving. Two things you need to do a lot of when climbing up these things.
Right at the very top of this, there was a base-station for an aerial. Sticking out the back of this was a couple of air-conditioning units that shot out a massive, continuous blast of freezing cold air.
This was possibly the best thing I have ever felt in my entire live.
The title of this photo comes from this classic clip of Laurel and Hardy.
