Amex Customer Service

As I'm about to go on holiday, I thought I'd tell American Express that I'm going away, in case they decide to try and block my credit card. Much to my delight, you can email their customer service department instead of phoning them.
The Email
I thought I'd give them a bit of background when I informed them of my trip.
Dear American Express,
I'm going to Hungary on Monday (for 10 days) and I'll probably be using my card out there. I'm going out for a festival. I went last year and it was very good. This year Faith No More are playing.
Anyhoo, I just thought I'd let you know so you don't think my card has been stolen by gypsies and block it.
If it does happen to be stolen by gypsies, I'll phone from there and let you know. In the meantime, all systems are go.
Regards, Conor
This not only informs them of my trip, but might also save some poor soul from a boring day.
The Response
Here's the reply I got less than 24 hours later:
Dear Mr MacNeill,
Thank you for your e-mail regarding your travel plans.
I have updated your account with your travel dates and wish you an enjoyable trip to Hungary.....
...Thank you again for informing us of your travel plans and once again, we wish you an enjoyable trip and I hope you enjoy FNM!
What a nice reply!
